The Matheson brand is a partnership between Matty Matheson and product designers Castor Design. Our relationship dates back 12 years, owning and operating Oddfellows and Parts & Labour restaurants. Two establishments that changed Toronto's food scene.

The 10" cast iron pan is the first product in the Matheson brand. Our goal is to make something that will perform better as it ages and will last for years to come. The all-in-one pan set is suitable for any kitchen setup and levels of experience. We are proud of the Matheson cast iron pan and hope it becomes an essential part of your kitchen for many years.

Matty Matheson

Matty Matheson, internationally recognized chef and personality, has been breaking barriers since his cooking debut back in 2003. His expansive career has brought many opportunities to the chef, restaurateur, New York Times best-selling author (for his Matty Matheson: A Cookbook) and television personality.

Castor Design

Castor Design was established 2009 in Toronto. Its work tests the limits of materials, both in terms of aesthetic and structural properties, blurring the line between the practicality of engineering and the indulgence of art. In addition to their product line and installations, the company also works on interiors projects, custom lighting and furniture design, and public art commissions. Castor Design has won awards from the Architizer A+ Awards, A’ Design, Azure Magazine’s AZ Awards, Interior Design Magazine, and from numerous design shows.
